QMI to present at UIIN conference in Helsinki, Finland
Commercialisation Executive, Eleftheria Ledaki is part of a panel at the UIIN conference in Helsinki.
The conference, which will be held from 18th to 20th June 2019, is aimed at providing insights into a wide range of university-industry interaction themes. QMI’s presentation will take place on June 19th, 10:45 – 12:15 on the Parallel tracks session, Role of Technology Transfer Offices in Academic-Corporate Engagement: A Global Perspective. This session is aimed at engaging Technology Transfer experts from across the world to discuss their best practice techniques in university – industry engagement. Often, best practice techniques are discussed over relatively narrow geographical or cultural regions. This panel aims to take a much broader global view, with worldwide technology transfer professional representatives.
The diverse range of panel members will allow for discussions of geographical and cultural differences between regions, based on first hand experiences. By providing such a broad geographical spread of panel members, the idea is that all attendees will feel “at home” and can therefore benefit from this wide-ranging knowledge and experience.
The objective of this session is not to create a “one size fits all” best practice answer, but to develop ideas and a selection of methods which can be implemented as appropriate.
