When a nerve is damaged, the body tries to repair it by sprouting new nerve fibres across the damaged area. But there’s a limit. If the gap is wider than 1cm, the nerve often fails to reconnect.

Newrotex’s flagship product, SilkAxons, can bridge gaps of up to 10cm. It is the only medical device proven to do so effectively.

In doing so, Newrotex are solving a massive unmet need for an effective, scalable, large-gap peripheral nerve repair device.
