Tabletop R&D are bringing decades of research on computational intelligence to tabletop board game design. For games to be fun, they need to be believable, playable, and balanced between players.

Tabletop games have traditionally relied upon hundreds, perhaps even thousands, of hours of human playtesting. With more intricate games, fixing one issue can create imbalances elsewhere.

Tabletop R&D want to help game designers create better games, faster. Their tools will contribute to different stages of game development, providing additional insights to play-testing to create robust and balanced games.

As a designer, developer, or publisher, you can use Tabletop R&D technology to answer questions you have about your game, such as to evaluate different strategies, game balance, frequency and types of actions played, or victory conditions triggered most often.

The technology creates digital twins of games through which you can simulate thousands of plays in minutes. Using computational Intelligence, the technology analyses simulation results to provide statistical insights into your game. This allows you to quickly test both the initial game design and any modifications you plan to make to it.
